That offer you unwonted treasures,
Happy with what hope betrays.
Even without children, children
Recognize your gentleness
‘Ere they wander, errant pilgrims
Searching for their bit of bliss.
Destiny is ever kind,
Albeit driven by the wind.
Yet yearning ends in emptiness.
